The capsules are made in the USA from an acrylic plastic with a non-yellowing agent, resulting in a final product that is hard, crystal clear, and smooth to the touch. The cover and base close together firmly to form a perfect seal, and the capsules are PVC-free and archival-safe, suitable for extended periods of long-term coin or bar storage. The inside diameter of the capsules is 32.7mm with a depth of 3.17mm, and the outside diameter is 44.45mm with a height of 5.4mm.

These are genuine Air-Tite Holder Brand Capsules, and they are shipped unassembled between layers of foam. The capsules can accommodate a variety of coins, including 1oz Gold Eagles ($50), 1oz Gold Buffalo, 1oz $100 Platinum Eagle, US Half Dollars (1794-1836), 1/2oz Silver Rounds and 1/2oz Liberty Dollars, 1oz Lunar Gold (Series 1), 1oz Gold Nugget, 1oz Gold Kangaroo, 1oz Australian Platinum Platypus, British and Irish Silver Half Crown, 1oz Gold Britannia, 1oz Gold Sovereign, 1oz Gold Krugerrand, Canadian One Dollar (1968 ~ 1986), and 1oz Gold Panda, and 1/2oz Silver Fiji Taku.
